Oh I 'missed' Vietnam...
We made it to our last stop in this journey - Hoi An! I forgot how is it when you try to buy something and the price is almost tripple from fair! I don't know how to bargain Alena is a Pro in that! I went out yesterday to get some food for dinner and water. Passing by a kiosk I aksed how much is 4 litter watter bottle the lady said (after she measured me with her eye) 40 000 dong. I smiled and asked "are you sure?", she smiled back and gave it to me for 35000. I know that the price of it is probably 17000 or so,i'm still the sucker there, but I can't help it, I want to trust people.
Today I was going to fuel the retal motorbike and the price of 1 littre of fuel went from 20 000 to 25 000 in less than a second.
- How much is the fuel?
- 20 thous ... 25 thousand
I know that everybody needs to make money, but I just don't feel good about overpaying. I need to get some haggle-skill from Alena.
Anyway, we are in HoiAn. Super sweet iced coffee, spring rolls and Pho Bo all the way!!!
Honestly, great to be back!!!
PS we went to the cafe today, to the same cafe where about 4 years ago we sat, drank coffee and thought 'it would be nice to come back to Hoi An and spend like a month here' :)
