A big think here, in Vietnam, is happy hour. Everywhere you go you see street vendors which come by to you and say 'Happy Hour' now (no matter the time of the day). Of course it sounds a bit fishy and you suspect that the price is not really a 'sale' price. Happy hour is applicable here to anything from food and drinks to tourist stuff like magnets and other crap.
The fact that they use this 'happy hour' means that tourists are still going for that, even though it sounds like a big sale month in Russia or Greece when an item normally costs 100$ then just before the discount they raise the price 30$ and then give you 30% discount :)
