My Oh my

this blog is not very alive, but still moving. It is mid-2024 now and we are in Malaysia (Penang) - the dream we have been moving to has finally arrived.

We have settled in here a while now and kids are in school (Alisa and Milo), Noah is still at the kindergarten but we are considering his in-school-ment soon if the school allows.

Everything is moving so fast (most of the time) and so slow - specially the weekends. It is hard to entertain 3 kids with somewhat considerable age-gap between number 1 and number 3. All the things Alisa might be interested in are borindg to Milo and definitely Noah. Noah can play at a playground with some blocks for hours, Alisa is bored within 8 seconds. We are still trying to get a grip on that and also try to work and ejoy our lives as well. So fur success rate is debatable but we have our moments.

There is no future plans at this point so we are a bit of hanging here, all we know (or somewhat talked about) is that we are going to stay here for a couple of years to get the kids settle at schools and get the idea of studying. We already notice the huge boost of english language with Milo. Noah has just began speaking long sentences and it is just magic how from almost nothing a month ago he can now communicate like a small adult. Alisa is also enjoying her lessons of chinese language so much so that she is having 5 hours at school and she is going a day after school to private lesson. We heard good feedback from her teacher Michelle at artelingo studio at Island plaza.

We also planned an adventure for december to escape to Thailand and have a month there and let kids experience swedish culture at the svenska skola Sanuk. We just came back from Hua Hin where we spend a week and it is an OK place, not for living but staying there a month should be fine. We booked an apartment there and agreed with school.
