what a year! I'm talking about 2020 of course. Despite being strange and crazy it was quite interesting and self-reflecting. We actually managed to travel a bit (Dominical rep just before the pandemic hit) and July we spent in Mallorca - it was great (but expensive).
The rest of 2020 I can't even remember. The beauty of it was remote working (or working from home to be exact). It allowed me (Anton) to be very flexible with my time and spend the day-time with Alena and Milo (Alisa was enjoying kindergarten). I also learned that I can be very productive working in short bursts rather than sitting whole 8 hours at the office.
One key point in 2020 was that we had a ticket to go to Malaysia in October 2020 but it didn't happen for known reasons and Malaysia is still to open up for the visitors (today is May 2021).
In 2021 we decided to be the masters of our fate and so we boarded a plane again and the plane took us to Spain... again! this time we moved to Tenerife in April and decided to spend the spring + summer there. I had to take parental leave for that time because working from abroad is not an option at my current company so I will spend more time with the family (or will I?).
As a little tradition while on parental leave i'm rethinking a lot of things related to life, work, future (food, body composition and exercise). Parental leave is a transformation process, not a vacation :)
