Not far from our apartment there is a huge building with like gazillion apartments in there. I walked around it a couple of times, it is like a mini city. Huge parking lot, barber shops, restaurants, convenience stores etc, everything inside the building (or on its sides). Almost every apartment has 1 or more satellite dishes and (as I found out) the apartments are not so big, maximum 3 small rooms which means that the building hosts a lot of people. To be honest it is a bit creepy place, but it's a different story. (I have foto of the good side of the building only)
Around the building there are 3 small playgrounds for children. Not full scale playgrounds but rather something to tick off a box saying that the building has playground and maybe charge some extra for the apartments (my guess). The creepy thing is that the building probably hosts more than 1000 families I bet there are children there, but I never saw any child playing on the playgrounds! I have been passing the building like 3 or 4 times within last 5 days and never saw kids there.
Today we have visited a rooftop playground on a new building "Spice Arena" and it seems that a lot of money was invested into the playground and it is featured in the commercial spot of the building. The playground is nice but is not suitable for the children Alisa's age. Besides it seems that the playground was designed by somebody who didn't think much about children, there are some strange "solutions" there.
My point of this all is that it is super strange that we have seen/visited a few playgrounds and we spot them because we are anchored to find a good place to spend some time with Alisa, and we didn't usually see any children on playgrounds. Only sometimes only a few kids. Maybe the kids are busy doing homework or helping parents or just play somewhere else.
